Shares of Mesa Air Group Inc. (NASDAQ: MESA) soared Monday after announcing a merger with Republic Airways in an all-stock deal. The new entity, to be named Republic Airways Holdings Inc., will operate 310 E-Jets and remain listed on NASDAQ under "RJET." The merger is expected to close in late 2025.
