R. R. Donnelley To Pay $481 Million For Bowne & Co.

R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. (Nasdaq: RRD) will pay approximately $481 million in cash to acquire Bowne & Co. Inc. (NYSE: BNE), which values the company at a 65% premium over Tuesday's closing price. Shares of R. R. Donnelley added 63 cents to $21.14 while Bowne & Co. stock leaped $4.19 to $11.16.
