Goldcorp Completes Acquisition Of Canplats Resources

Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE: GG) completed its acquisition of Canplats Resources, which includes the significant gold and silver resources of the Camino Rojo project. The stock price soared $2.29 to close at $35.51.
