Psychiatric Solutions Falls Short

Although third quarter earnings for Psychiatric Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: PSYS) rose to 50 cents per share from 47 cents per share in the year ago period, the results fell short of expectations sending the stock price plummeting $6.08 to $18.07.
