Earnings Soar For Conexant

Fourth quarter earnings for Conexant Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CNXT) leaped to 47 cents per share from 2 cents per share in the year ago period despite lower revenue as the company cut expenses and sold a business. Shares of the chip maker rose 32 cents to $2.76.
