Level 3 And Sprint Engage In Joint Venture Discussions

Level 3 Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: LVLT) and Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE: S) engaged in early stage discussions to form a joint venture. Shares of Level 3 climbed 20 cents to close at $1.33 while Sprint stock eased 11 cents to close at $4.84.
