Earnings Plunge For Arch Coal

First quarter earnings for Arch Coal Inc. (NYSE: ACI) plunged to 21 cents per share compared with 56 cents per share a year earlier as demand tumbled and the company forecast disappointingly low full year results.  Shares of the coal company dropped $1.32 to close at $13.59.
