Akeena Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: AKNS) engaged Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. (NYSE: STP) to distribute Akeena's Andalay product line in Europe, Japan and Australia. Shares of Akeena leaped $3.49 to close at $11.45 while Suntech stock surged $3.64 to close at $85.96.
