No Aid For Greece Until Talks With IMF Concludes, Markets Mixed

The markets traded mixed during the midday with the Dow adding 9 points to 11,143 while Nasdaq slipped 4 points to 2514. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that no aid package for Greece can be discussed until Greece concludes talks with the International Monetary Fund.

On the upside

MBT Financial (Nasdaq: MBTF) swung to a first quarter profit.

Cepheid (Nasdaq: CPHD) narrowed first quarter losses more than expected as revenue climbed.

Third quarter earnings for Western Digital (NYSE: WDC) surged eightfold prompting upgrades.

On the downside

Citizens Republic Bancorp (Nasdaq: CRBC) widened first quarter losses.

NCR (NYSE: NCR) blamed pension expenses for widening first quarter losses.

Wilmington Trust (NYSE: WL) swung to a much larger than expected loss for the first quarter.

In the broad market, advancing issues outpaced decliners by a margin of more than 4 to 3 on the NYSE and by nearly 10 to 9 on Nasdaq. The Russell 2000 which tracks small cap stocks rose 2 points to 736.
